Supporting your activities with children

ICE North West strives to support your volunteer activities at schools. Please contact the ICE North West office (icecube@ice.org.uk or 07976 313 656) to discuss how we might be able help you. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we can try to order materials and arrange collection.

Resources may include:

• additional volunteers
• easy-to-set-up banners
• a two-metre ICE NW stand appropriate for careers events and other large venues
• age-appropriate publications about the construction industry, civil engineering and about ICE
• PowerPoint presentation templates that you can edit to suit your audience
• branded age-appropriate giveaways, such as rulers or pens
• a civil engineering toolkit, containing a presentation template, activities to do with children in the classroom and tips and advice for working with schools and children (a toolkit for children ages 8-11 is currently being developed)
